Solar integrated EV charging

The manufacturing cost of EVs is expected to equal petrol cars by 2024. And without the cost of stamp duty, the crossover to your first EV may not be too far away.

How does conventional EV charging work?

A conventional EV charger is connected to your household 240V power supply. So it will draw power from the Grid overnight, or indirectly from stored solar power.

Management of your solar system and EV charging will be independent of each other.

EV charging powered directly by your solar

There's just one modular solar inverter that can be expanded to include direct EV charging.

In one integrated app, you can view and manage EV charging, solar production and solar storage. Excess solar can now be sent automatically to your car battery, rather than default exported back to the Grid for a pittance.

New smart solar EV charger

Solaredge is the inverter market leader. It's also the innovation leader, reimagining the role of the inverter within a solar household.

Now with the launch of its Energy Hub, Solaredge leads again, with smart integration of EV charging into your solar system.

Scalable addition to new SE inverter

Get PV and EV together to avoid separate installation costs and optimise your ROI. Or you can simply retrofit when you need it.

Super fast charging

Charge up to +25% faster than standard Level 2 with solar boost mode (solar and grid combined). This mode is 7x faster than charging from the grid via a wall socket

Just one smart app

Full visibility & control of EV charging + all smart energy

Track energy consumption for each charging session

The app shows charging history in kW and energy consumption in kWh for each session

5 year warranty

Industry leading vs standard of just 2-4 years

Compatible with all EVs

A Universal J1772 connector charges any EV
